Eudora v5

The following instructions cover typical usage of Eudora, and assume the software has been installed correctly on your system.

The instructions are only for individuals with a direct Internet connection, by modem or network. If you are behind a firewall or proxy server, the information below may not work. Consult your network administrator for more information.

This section describes how to configure Eudora.

From the Tools menu, select Options.
Click Getting Started.
- Return Address: your e-mail address
- Mail Server (Incoming): "pop.registeredsite.com"
- Login Name: popID@yourdomain.com
- SMTP Server (Outgoing): "smtp.registeredsite.com"

With these basic settings you should be able to retrieve e-mail from the name mailbox by selecting Check Mail from the File menu. These instructions were generated using version 5 for Windows 2000/98/95/NT. Menus may be slightly different if you are using a different version.
